Where it all started for us with Grandfather coming over from Abruzzi Itlay and settling in WVA.

bigwater > Grandfather and Grandmother on their honeymoon in Elyria, Ohio. I don't even know where Elyria is. I hope they had fun.
bigwater > Granfather relaxing with a glass of his favorite elixar --- recently siphoned from one of his barrels in the wine cellar, Probably after an artistic session at one of his many canvas projects. Granfather was a painter, sculpture, he forged tools and knives in his shop. My mother still has some of the knives that Grandpa made for her 60 years ago.
bigwater > Grandfather use to have to go collect the rent from some of his tenants in the 6 story apartment building that he owned. This young lady seems to be flirting with danger.

bigwater > This was the railroad trestle that Grandfather built to get to his coal mine --- the Jack Run Coal Company. Unfortunately the stock market crash of 1929 sent the price of coal plummeting to 10 cents a ton and forced them into bankruptcy.
